Graycliff in Winter, Derby, New York
Gray cliff, view from the back.
This was an interesting project that mirrored the image from the front view I illustrated earlier. The back of the house looks out over Lake Erie for a spectacular view. Again, one of my favorite features in the tall glass windows the let you see thru the middle section of the house. I can't wait to see it in person some day.

I met with the director of the Stockman House and Wright on the Park last Spring to talk about what they'd like to see. Then after photographing the house from various angles, I decided on this straight forward angle showing its symmetry. I chose a warm gold color for the windows that seemed to click.

May 17, 2017. I completed a set of four illustrations for the Taliesin Gift Shop in Spring Green, Wisconsin in time to celebrate Frank Lloyd Wright's 150th birthday in June. The Visitor Center is also celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year. These illustrations will be sold exclusively as cards and art prints in the gift shop. You can purchase fine art prints from my Etsy shop and I'll donate 25% to Taliesin Preservation.
You can shop for my Arts and Crafts images in my Etsy shop. Here are a few examples of what you'll find.
